4.9 Lockboxes

Agents must only use lockboxes that are approved by the local real estate association.  Lockboxes are not to be installed on a property until the property is listed in the MLS and must be removed promptly once a transaction is complete.  Agents are required to remove a lockbox from a listing within 24 hours of settlement, listing expiration or listing withdrawal.


The Company does not approve the use of combination lockboxes on listings unless also in conjunction with an electronic one.
