9.1 RealVitalize Agent Acknowledgement

RealVitalize is a powerful tool a CENTURY 21® Redwood Realty (Redwood) Agent can offer Seller clients to create a simple experience for homeowners providing home improvement services with no upfront or hidden fees, and no credit checks or liens on the property. This simplicity is available because Redwood has an agreement with RealVitalize that should the listing not sell, the Brokerage is responsible.

Redwood’s policy is that should the Brokerage be billed for the Seller's repairs, the Brokerage shall hold the Agent responsible for reimbursement. The payment reimbursement to the Brokerage shall either be billed to the Agent’s credit card on file or it can be taken out of another commission as a bill deduct. Because of this, all Agents who use this great program must have a credit card on file and sign this acknowledgment.

Agents must be up to date on money owed to Brokerage to participate in this program. Should an Agent leave the Company before the broker collects the funds, the Agent acknowledges that the Brokerage may pursue funds within the scope of the law.

Per the rules of the program, the budget for any RealVitalize project is equivalent to the sell-side commission of the home’s list price. For example, if the list price of the home is $500k and the sell-side commission rate is 3%, the budget would be $15k.

Projects with costs greater than the maximum assigned allocation will need to be rescoped, or the seller can pay the overage (above the approved amount) out of pocket. Alternatively, the seller can agree to an increase in the list-side commission rate, in order to raise the budget amount.
